For starters, I am very impressed with the work that Doctors Without Borders has done for the people of West Africa. On that note, the instagram account for DWB is very aesthetically pleasing; They have obviously taken great care to post very visually appealing photos and pay attention to their followers which can be very helpful to the organization. They also perfectly demonstrate the issues DWB are constantly dealing with as well as the power behind these issues. There was a very powerful photo about a mother and her child. The mother was holding an oxygen mask over her child's face because her daughter was having difficulty breathing and she had asthma. It then goes on to explain that the area these two live in, Tripoli, Lebanon, is in the middle of an armed conflict between radical groups that affect the people who live there, including the mother and daughter. The photo is very powerful and touches on a very sentimental note for me. I liked that more so than the American Red Cross and what they did with their instagram page, or anything else they did really.

Yes, the work DWB is doing is impressive. It is amazing how they are able to offer so many resources to West Africa. And I agree the instagram photos are good. You can always tell the non-profits that take the extra step with their social media accounts. This extra effort will ultimately attract more attention that DWB needs.
