This course was very interesting and it was made all the more interesting by doing it in a short time. I was interested in this course because I wanted to more about the interaction that businesses do with social media as before this class I did not have a twitter or an Instagram. I probably won’t have one after either, but the class was great because instead of just hearing a lecture about what businesses do we got to hear directly from the source.
The connection with outside groups in this amount is not something you see very often. You guys got people to chat one after another. We doing the final project there was talk about what helped our client the most and I still think it’s the fact that they agreed to be a part of this. The got to have at least 150 see them and hear what they do in exchange for 30 minutes of someone’s time. I am sure they picked up more followers, on all social media platforms, even if all they did was an interview.
It was interesting to have a group project in a very short online class. I am sure there were groups that struggled, but our group worked really well together and was able to come up with strong ideas. I feel like our ideas were stronger than what shows through on the presentation. The short time to get things down made it so students couldn’t lag behind because if they did it would be all gone. It must be different to teach an online class to so many students you never see. This response should have also had a part when you have to sum up your experience in 140 characters.
