Learned a lot from this class; primarily that communication is beyond difficult in the midst of endless attempts to reach out to different members of the group to attain a certain goal or strategy. I realized that this was great exposure to the effects and the influences of social media. Before I began this course, social media was used to let people know my whereabouts and actual doings in society on normal day basis. I didn’t realize all of the capabilities of my personal accounts. I’ve learned that Instagram and Twitter has been used to promote and network for ideas, subjects, and people that I am passionate about on a daily basis. But I am more inclined to use Instagram and Youtube. I have grown fonder of twitter the more I have had the opportunity to use it.
The chance of a lifetime being able to draft unique social media campaigns was such a great benefit and also aided my learning. I had to apply concepts I learned from the lectures, I felt I learned the most from the Google hangouts with industry professionals. In order to better this course and curriculum I would suggest the continuation of the Google Hangouts, because it was a great experience, but attempt to make them a little shorter in time meanwhile make sure to keep the depth and informative substance in the talks. It was very difficult to have time management with this class managing three jobs and playing a sport while have 18 credits this semester, There is no clear way to have enough time to be able to complete all assignment without ever being rushed unless, your time management is grade level A.
Looking back on the assignments I completed for this class from the company and client. I would definitely would take a liking to being able to access the lecture and Google Hangouts so I can re-access them. Fundraising is the most exciting part of the whole campaign. Social Media is an awesome way to embellish in creativity at its best. There aren’t many places where professional get the chance to discuss their own personal plans and campaigns with one another as well allowing use to know as well.
