Report Draft
For the social media strategy, more information has to be posted for all of the social media platforms, as well as including in-depth information for Pinterest. A thorough design also has to be developed for our manual, which is something we all might be able to accomplish by having a Facebook chat. We are also discussing how we will go about recording the presentation for our manual.
Another thing we will advance in our strategy report is the use of screenshots/stills and other imagery to further illustrate our ideas. It will allow the client to more easily understand the material and use it as a manual. We have, however, noted in certain parts of the Google doc draft where we will later include these images. We also hope to use InDesign for our final draft, if we are allowed to.
At this point, we have yet to utilize some of the platforms that we originally intended to, which has meant we don’t have as many examples of how we intend our campaign to work for our Team Social Media Campaign section as we had originally hoped. As we are not yet done with the course, I think we still have enough time to come up with more content to use as examples. The team as a whole will work hard to campaign for the client during the upcoming week.
Team three has achieved a lot this past week. The main social media strategy we aim to succeed in for the World Pediatric Project consists of a visual approach. Instagram deems to be the main social media site that we will work on first. Following Instagram will be post made on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr. On Instagram videos will be a major part in our visual approach to gain more support. We decided that one picture or video posting a day on Instagram will be a great way to gain more supporters. Using the hashtag #WorldPediatricProject along with #awareness and #support will gain a lot of attention from not only Instagram users but also Twitter.
This week everyone is clear on what job they will do in order to make our social media campaign successful. Alison Raymundo will work on the production of our campaign by taking advantage of images provided my Flickr for the World Pediatric Project. Madeline Miller will focus on more of the detailed content from the campaign. Madeline will make sure that all of the social media sites we decided to use in the campaign are being taken advantage of. Lorynn Holloway will focus on making it simple for supporters to donate. By providing the link on social media sites that goes directly to the donation page, more people will be notified on how to donate. Nicole Czaja will write up the social media strategy as a whole. Lastly Joi Hamm will propose a detailed introduction on the goals and success of Team Three’s social media strategy. Some things we have yet to figure out are future directions and thoughts for the World Pediatric Project, as well as if we will use social media sites such as Ello to gain more supporters and awareness.
