This project has been a whirlwind. Amazingly, we have been able to finish a good and solid portion of our Strategy Report before and over fall break. In the first draft, we were able to complete the title page, introduction, social media strategy, Tracking, evaluation and measurement, team social media campaigns, multimedia production and future directions and thoughts. This is our first draft and our group will improve with more revision.
Megan and Omnia Elgoodah will continue to work on Tracking, evaluation and measurements and Team Social Media Campaign. Although it is very visual, We want to add more text content to expand and go into the evaluations more in depth. For example, Hoot Suite is a very detailed, yet simple social media management platform that we grazed over in the first draft. Although with the final report and the presentation, we would like to go more into details in regards to it because it is a very helpful tool.
Sam and Megan will continue to work on the social media strategies pages as we would like to go into more text content as well. We feel that we have covered the grounds with a nice balance of visual examples and text. However, we would like to tap into more details of the tasks and better organize the pictures within the strategy. For example, with Colby and Omnia doing observations of the current success of Preemptive Love Coalition’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram page. We would like to add more examples and details of the success of their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. Utilizing visual images of statistical site growth. We would also like to gauge more feedback on what the site visually looks like from users that have not visited the site before and have visited the site before. This will give our report another dimension and more outside credibility as we did more leg work to better help the brand campaign and Preemptive Love Coalition.
Zack will continue to work on the multimedia production adding in more details and examples. While Omnia will continue to develop the future directions and thoughts as they are experienced with some non-profit knowledge from internships and volunteers. This will give the report another dimension of real-world knowledge as this over project has given us an experience on real-world strategics and reporting. We also need to complete the table of contents as well.
This has been an amazing project to work on and we are truly grateful for the experience. Although it may have made us pull out some of our hair it did help us learn about non-profit organizations and the people behind them. The power truly in the hands of the people and social media is a mega force and in our team we believe that it will be the NEXT BIG THING to help nonprofits shine and go above and behind their expectations and goals.
