final project.docx (40.31 KB) This past week our group met up and discussed our plan for the social media campaign and strategy reports. We still need to work on the main portion of our social media strategy for our client and which platforms we should decide to use them for. We are primarily going to be targeting Instagram for our campaign but other media devices may be used as well. Another area we have yet to cover is the team social media campaign. We have split the work up starting with the strategy document. We also need to make the page of our names and contact information even though that seems like a simple task it still remains to be completed. We have already knocked out the following sections: Title page, table of content, introduction, fundraising strategy, tracking, evaluation and measurement, multimedia presentation, and future directions/thoughts. Even though meeting last week was difficult due to midterms and lots of conflicting schedules, we are planning to meet up this week to film the multimedia presentation and put the rest of the pieces of the strategy report together. For the parts already completed, we would like to edit them among each other and try to be more detailed so each section in the table of contents holds a higher value to our non-profit client.

I have attached the draft for one of our multimedia presentations. We are trying to find a way to communicate the organization's goal and mission through quick and easily digestible images that can be posted on Instagram. I believe that our current draft is headed in the right direction, but would benefit from further revision. Attachments:

Hey Team 14!
First of all, I love the multimedia draft you posted above - looking forward to seeing more!
Your campaign strategy draft, as you noted, is lacking some things. A few things to keep in mind:
1. Watch your spelling and grammar. There are mistakes in both throughout the document - and remember, this is a professional report. Also, be consistent with capitalizations.
2. Don't use "I", use "we" - right now you're mixing the two.
3. Under your social media strategy, you primarily describe PLC - make sure you document the actual strategy that you are recommending, with examples.
4. As you mentioned, you are missing the team social media campaigns.
5. Be careful with sweeping statements. In your "Future directions" part, you say "PLC is not as popular as the Red Cross.... (abbreviated by me)" - PLC is much smaller, but you cannot necessarily say that they are less popular. They have less visibility, less reach. Also in "Future direction", a food festival may not be a bad idea, but is it really "the best way for them to gain recognition?'
6. I would be hesitant to use Hootsuite as your only tracking/measurement strategy since it is very possible PLC is already using Hootsuite (it is a commonly used tool these days).
