Week 5 Reflection – Team 4
Alexandra Johnson
Alexandria Vandervall
Hannah Hodge
Jacqueline Paret
Nicolette Steele
As Team 4 in Global Health and Social Media we have come a long way in creating a social media strategy for the World Pediatric Project. However, we still have a long way to go!
So far, we have brainstormed and collaborated to come up with strategies and ideas to raise money and awareness of the World Pediatric Project. We have come up with ideas for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
The final draft for the paper still needs to come together. We still have to write up our introduction, multimedia production, future directions and thoughts, and our names and contact information. The measurement statement for tracking and evaluation needs to be added as well as adding our own personal demonstrations of social media promotion to the final draft of the paper.
As discussed in our Facebook group, the title page, table of contents, and introduction are going to be a group effort. Jackie Paret will be doing the cross platform strategy, Alexandra Johnson will be doing the Facebook strategy, Alex Vandervall will be doing the Twitter strategy, Hannah Hodges will be doing the Instagram strategy, and Nicolette Steele will be doing the Pinterest strategy.
Additionally, Nicolette Steele will be doing the fundraising strategy, Hannah Hodges will be doing the multimedia strategy, Alex Vandervall will be doing the future direction page, and Alexandra Johnson will be doing the tracking and evaluation page. Each team member will also create one page of their own that demonstrates their contribution to raising awareness of World Pediatric Project via their own social media accounts. We will all be providing screenshots and pictures of our involvement. At the end of the report, everyone will fill in her contact information for the final page of the report.
For the presentation, each member will take the subjects they have been assigned and place the information onto PowerPoint slides. They will all be sent to one person so that we may work on formatting them in order to form a cohesive presentation. We will use one of the mentioned programs to animate the PowerPoint into a visual presentation. Also we are working on the template for the final report and PowerPoint presentation to create something visually appealing. To set up meeting times during this week, we have created a Doodle scheduling calendar to determine which members are free and at what specific times.
