I like the Pinterest that the American association has because it gives you information on not only how to prevent cardiovascular disease. I also think that posting the pictures of events that they have going is very helpful to promote their activities. It has many ways for dinner lunch and breakfast ideas. It also gives motivational quotes and pictures on what to live by in order to help and prevent diseases. I feel that their interest has done a good job in not only promotion, but making the page interesting to keep people following them.
I visited one of the many Facebook web pages that that the American Heart Association. It has over 100,000 likes on Facebooks and has been active since 2008. Even though many of the posts are to promote events that they have going on, they also keep it friendly and try in make conversations personal for people who like and follow the page. They also do what they do on Pinterest set goals and other motivations in order to prevent cardiovascular disease. In both platforms, The American Heart Association keeps their audience and the people involved. They make everything personal and that is a smart technique because it not only helps patients feel like they are being personally helped, but it also shows how personal the volunteer work might be. The more personal The American Health Association is the more people might want to help because people like to feel like they are helping people directly and personally. They try to engage people as much as possible.

It tells about what successes that they have had throughout the 50 years. The American Heart Association joined September 28, 2007and has 5,233,879 views. They also have 5 other featured channels which each have over 300 subscribers. I feel like the YouTube page is a big success when it comes to social media.
