I enjoyed charity water a lot. Their photos stand out tremendously to me. I went to the official website and it intrigued me how developed their website is. The first thing you see when youpull up the website is to start a campaign. Their Instagram stands out when it comes to the social media platforms that they use. Their photography is amazing and I think that is why theirInstagram works best for them. Even on instagram they reach out to people. Something I noticed when looking at the Instagram is the captions they post. The captions they post relate to thestruggling families that they photograph. The captions usuallyrelate to how much people have helped save families lives. They also talk about the quality of water. Charity Water does a good job in emphasizing first how important it is to have clean water, which they also include how clean their water is. With 227,000 followers and 1063 posts, you can tell how active their Facebook. They do a great job of promoting their campaigns I enjoy how they September campaign countdown that they had. I thinkthat it was very creative and very simple.
I think that how personal they made their social media is very important. They take the time to contact individuals online to thank them on how much they have helped out. I feel like if many other nonprofit organizations would be as active in social media like Charity Water is they could be very successful. They are also sponsor partners with a lot of other companies such as ClearCambodia, WaterAid, Splash and the International Humanitarian Organization. I also like the explanation on why they chose water in the first place. Showing that 90% of deaths occur because of unsafe water and unhygienic living conditions. www.charitywater.org/whywater/ has a lot of information about the organization andthe success that they have had as well as share personal experiences that have went on because of Charity Water. www.dutiee.com/charitywater-explains-how-they-use-social-media-to-raise-millions-online states that over 60% of their donations arerose online which is remarkable given that most nonprofits still struggle at online fundraising. It is even said Charity: Water claims to spend zero dollars on marketing. This shows how effective their social media in comparison to other companies andit also shows how much how serious they are with raising money, finding smart ways in order to raise money in order to keep the organization a success. Overall i feel like Charity Water isa great nonprofit organization and is also a big success
