Make-a-Wish is huge on social media platforms like Twitter,Youtube, and Facebook and their is a very simple reason for it. They know how to involve people. When you look at social media the number on thing you must do to be successful is to be social. The media part is just the medium in which to do it. When it comes to involve people I found that good exposure is the best and that is why their social media is thriving. Make-a-Wish tries to make a terminal child's ultimate dream come true by reaching out to those who can help and this means celebrities too. Celebrities are so invested in their public image that it makes Make-a-Wish job that more easier and their cause that more viral. Now I want to first say before I go any further that I dont or at least hope that any celebrities involved are not just helping out to personify a good image but the fact of the matter is Make-a-Wish has made it a two way street. They get to help these children and these celebrities get exposure.People love a good story and that is exactly why Make-a-Wish has such a huge following on Twitter and Youtube, people want to see their favorite athlete meeting sick children or an entire city rally together to change San Francisco into Gotham for BatKid. Make-a-Wish has done a great job involve people in their cause with these social media platforms.I hope I am not sounding too cynical but Make-a-Wish is smart enough to use social media as way to advance their cause by playing to the fact that people love good exposure
